DIY Washout Booth

I quickly realized that even spraying out a screen that had just been exposed splashed quite a bit of water all over the place, including onto my brand new wood desk and cabinet that is just a couple feet away. My plan had been to reclaim screens outside, on my side yard, where I could make a bigger mess. However, we had a ton of rainfall this past January, and it was seeming like it might be a good idea to also have the option of reclaiming screens with the pressure washer indoors. So, I set out to build a casing around my sink. I spent $110 on supplies, including wood, and coroplast. I had some good wood screws and dry wall screens to put it all together laying around.

It’s still a bit of a work in progress, such is life. I would like to seal the corners, and possibly find a way to guide any excess water from the side walls into the Tupperware underneath the sink, that catches all the water from the sink drain, before it goes into a pump, to drain. Also, filtration is not fully in place yet, all the water going down the drain will go through 2 filters, mostly to catch bigger particles, but I will probably want to get a premade filtration system under the sink, when I have the funds.
